The Crux constellation in the southern hemisphere is commonly known as the Southern Cross. I saw the Crux the first time from the Sacred Valley in Peru, but the picture bellow is not taken by me. As we have seen in Machu Picchu the Crux was important for the Incas and it still is for the people in the South. It can be seen on several flags (Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, etc.) and it is rather popular as a tattoo motive :-)
