Route of the day starting in Geneva ...
... with the extension to Saint-Gingolph

An extension of today's tour - onwards to Saint-Gingolph (France)

On the way to Saint-Gingolph - Château de Tourronde

At Lac Léman in Saint-Gingolph - French side
Saint-Gingolph is at the French-Swiss border and is administratively divided into a Swiss and a French part. Its name is derived from the eighth century saint Gangulphus, who is said to have lived as a hermit in this region. The town consists of a single parish (the church and cemetery are on the French side) with two municipal administrations and two distinct legal systems.
