Parking at the Casino in Montreux

Palm trees near the Casino

The Market Hall was built at the end of the 19th century ...
... a present from Henri Nestlé

The Freddie Mercury statue next to the Market Hall
Lover of Life - Singer of Songs (1946-1991)
From the inscription on the tablet of the statue: Queen acquired the lakeside Mountain Recording Studios in 1978 and Freddie's strong link with the town continued until his death. He appreciated the kindness and discretion of the townspeople and Montreux became a heaven for him, his second home and the setting of his final work.

Can you see the building on top of the hill?
