New discovery - Gex in France

Gex gave its name to the region Pays de Gex which once was ruled by Geneva and later by the Duchy of Savoy. The Swiss towns of Collex, Le Grand-Saconnex, Mategnin, Pregny, Vernier and Versoix were also part of the Pays de Gex in the past.
